Microphone Vol goes 100 on startup
Hi, I've been playing CS:GO for way too long and still have not found why CS:GO sets my Mic Volume to 100 when I start it. How can I fix it?

If you have an autoexec with no volume mixer set and is also set to read-only it will always override your windows slider to 100%. Add 'voice_mixer_volume "0.8"' and you should be golden.

Or if you don't know how to do that just bind w to that command

I mean that my Microphone settings change. So that my input Volume on my Microphone gets from 80 to 100 everytime I start it. Thanks for trying tho

Hm, have you tried lowering the mic volume in Steam > Settings > Sound ? If not that then what about turning off "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device" under Exclusive mode under "Advanced" Tab on the properties of the audio device. Nothing will change but it -should- be fixed, at least I think.
