Are Stickers on souvenir guns worth anything

For example i Have a souvenir mag-7 rust coat with a gold s1mple sticker on it does that up the price for the gun at all at the time of writing this the mag-7 souvenir it self goes for 10 cents NZD but the gold simple sticker goes for 140 NZD if this ups the price then by how much ? will i get a decent price does anyone know an estimate

Golden stickers maintain about 3% value when put on skins, UNLESS they are on souvenir skins from the case, in which case they add 0 value ;p

Not really. They would only hold value if you were doing a direct one to one trade with someone who knows sticker values, and even then it's doubtful a trader would care about souvenir weapon stickers, they just don't hold that much appeal.

I also don't believe we have any numbers on sticker distribution on souvenir weapons as opposed to sticker distribution through capsules. It could very well be that a "simple" sticker on a souvenir gun isn't rare at all, but is extremely rare in a capsule.

In addition, since it's already attached to a certain weapon and skin, it doesn't hold as much appeal to a potential buyer since they can't use it to customize their specific weapon in mind.

tl;dr: No. It might add a couple more dollars if someone REALLY wanted it, for whatever reason.

This will vary based on a few different factors. What that player did in that match. If they aced against the other team it because immediately more valuable than any other sticker you can get on a souvenir from that tournament. That makes sense however, that player did something "memorable" you could say in that game. Just because they were in that match it isn't that relevant. Things like 2 or 3 collat shots those would count too. Of course names matters too, people would prefer someone who has been in the pro scene for a long time vs someone who hasn't. Things like that will be more sought after for collectors. That said, a souvenir sticker in general isn't worth that much on top of the gun itself after you look at float values, condition value, the actual skin itself, patterns, and so many of them being available. The souvenir stickers are nice in general but they're not stickers we can get ourselves to apply to our other skins which forces us to play with a souvenir weapon skin and there's not a lot that look good. Nowadays people have to pay to get souvenir packages, back in the day they would drop for free so I don't know how that's gonna change the future of souvenir skin prices but I don't think it will affect it either way.

There are just very few skins where the sticker add value. For example 2018 cloud9 won the major and someone got an souvenir awp dragon lore with 4 sticker, cloud9 and from skadoodle, who was the awper from cloud9. Quality of the gun etc. was good aswell so the weapon was sold for 60.000+ dollar.

So it CAN add value but just in very specific cases. A simple sticker on a shotgun doesn't add anything. Simple sticker is cool but on a shotgun? Nah. But for example a simple, guardian or device sticker on a souvenir awp safari mesh can add value, since they are awper.

Look at the date of the last post before you. 2021. What year is it?

The answer is yes of course but depends on a multitude of factors. Look at what type of gun it is, the condition, then search to see what the oldest souvenir and what tournament that was, then, look at what the newest one is. Look at the prices for both, and you go somewhere in the middle. Boston is not as common is souvenirs anymore but you can still find a good ammount. Dreamhack souvenirs for instance are a lot rarer. So yes, technically your souvenir weapon is worth more than the same weapon with Paris, Rio, Antwerp, Stockholm stickers, but there's a lot more factors that could matter, especially since Paris stickers look good. Boston also looks good and are more unique than Paris, Antwerp, Stockholm tho.
