Tips on using the Deagle effectively?

I guess practice is key, but I don't seem to be improving. This is especially true during eco rounds, because I can't ever manage to get a headshot on anyone. Guys who just strafe past an angle and try headshotting me throws my aim off.

make sure you don't jump when you're wielding the Deagle. Deagle doesn't like jumping.
When shooting rapid, first shot is dead accurate and the following can be considered accurate for mid range. The rest are random if you don't crouch. When you jump, deagle takes some time to reset its inaccuracy.
Work on prefire spots, for example, slap a bullet on Mirage window guy or Cache B heaven/headshot guy.
On close range, Deagle is a good shotgun for $700 lol just crouch and shoot
plus, if you have a friend that is good with Scout,
you guys can be a deadly duo. He tags them 70 and 1 bullet with deagle in anywhere of their body is a kill.

On close range you duck and shoot on the chest. On mid to high ranges the most important thing is crosshairplacement. Always aim at headhight and learn how to counterstrafe. When you peek somewhere you already must be on the head of the player, pre-counterstrafe and premeditate the shot. Nearly all deagle kills work like this.

I use a small black/green dot as a crosshair. I prefer not changing it.

Crosshair is also not important at all as long you don't use a silly one.

You ahve to know when t o double hit and when to triple hit or even 1 hit. Calculate the risks. Learn 2 im quickly for both head and body. You know you can shoot quicker when u crouched???
