Yes, they are still stupid like hell even at expert level, but at least they are faster and move and aim better than default ones. Of course bots are not enough - navmesh for given map must be also top notch to make for fun with bots. Which means it has to be well manually edited. Still the bots are not much worth. But again - this is nothing when compared to bots that could learn like the Dota2 OpenAI. Of course one should consider the effects too good bots would have for ranked CS:GO matches. On the other hand it would make playing with bots much more interesting. The good thing with AI however is that you can usually control its "intelectual" strenght like in case of chess engines, so they could be adjusted to the average level of players in the match.

I remember bots in cs 1.6.They were really good made, on expert they could one shot you in head in milisecond. But i more liked them as they had big chance of taking down even pro players.
