How does "You were kicked from too many recent matches" even work?
I haven't gotten kicked from a match in quite literally 7 whole months, and while I haven't played every day, I haven't *not* played during that timespan, and I just got a 30 minute cooldown.

Note, I'm not complaining about my cooldown or really asking how it generally works, it's a pinned thread, I'm just wondering how they gauge "You were kicked from too many recent matches" when I haven't really been kicked from a game in at least 25-30 games over the span of 7 months. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

This is my third game on today, I haven't been kicked from a match in 7 months whilst still actually playing the game here and there, and I got kicked by a stack.

Again its all trustfactor related.
And it seems your trustfactor is not perfect, so you just got a 30 mins cooldown because you 'left' a match.
Thats all.

That'd make sense...if I didn't suspect my trust factor being quite high with the amount of actually communicative, good players I've matched with and against. Barring that match I haven't played with or against especially toxic players, nor cheaters barring your general bad toxic apple here or there considering this is CS:GO. Seeing as I've had a fairly nice matchmaking experience those past few games up until my most recent one, I'd like to think my trust factor is pretty high.

Also, I heard nobody knows what factors Trust Factor really affect beyond who you get matchmade with preferably, as that and the specific factors that affect Trust Factor are kept secret as to prevent exploitation, so unless you have a source stating just that, I'm skeptical.

You should take a look at the pinned threads. They explain the cooldown system quite well.

I'm not asking that. I'm asking how does Trust Factor even tie in with how cooldowns work? I know exactly how the cooldown system works, but I don't know how the game gauges being kicked too many times and nothing I've found answers my question beyond "if you get kicked too many times in a short period, you get a cooldown".

Are you meaning that how Trustfactor is impacted when you recieve a cooldown?
Or are you wondering how Cooldowns are impacted by your trustfactor?

On the first one, no idea as the factors that impact trustfactor is not set in stone. The best guideline is "be a positive member of the community". They've made several examples, but it is also factors that may change with time as they stated in their update log.

On the second one, the answer is, it doesn't. Because the Cooldown system don't care about your trustfactor, atleast not from what I've seen as I've seen no change in how it works after the implementation of Trustfactor.

Oh, that was only said because of what Rug said about Trust Factor, but I'm starting to believe he has no idea how Trust Factor even works. I'm just wondering how the game takes into consideration what is a recent game kick?

Trust me, if you have top trustfactor, and dont encounter any cheaters or trolls at all (for 2 years now), ...and in the mean time read in forum all the stupid things ppl do ingame and wonder why they face sooo many cheaters ......then you know how trustfactor works.
Trustfactor isnt rocketscience, ....with a little bit of logic and normal common sense you can figure it out.

Kicking and getting kicked is pulled from the same pool.
Depending on which cooldown tier you're at, you have a certain size of this "pool".
For example, on tier 0-1 you have X amount of kicks (I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think it is around 5.) While if you're on tier 3+, one kick/get kicked is enough to trigger a cooldown.

I haven't been kicked in 7 months, I'm at tier 0 (just got a 30 minute), and the only time I participated in a votekick that succeeded was 4 months ago.

...And where's your source? I already told you, I have a good trust factor from what I've seen.

Its very simple, if you get a 30min cooldown after just 1 kick ......1 kick !
And i dont. Then obviously your trust isnt as high as mine, because i dont get a 30min cooldown, after just 1 kick. :steamhappy:
