You can easily get level 4 by getting the community badge so your proposition is not practical

Level 1 Andy wants to forbid level 0 player to play

you're like that kid who makes fun of students for getting a 50 on a test while you're sitting at 51

Lvl 0 = No 5 dollar spend on the acc no matter how many badges he created etc.

So. It does make sense what he suggests. Peopke who are level 0 shouldn't be allowed to play csgo online modes + shouldn't be allowed to post in any game forum. Those are cheater ingame and troll in the forum. Anyone who is a legit steam user will pay 5 dollar or already paid it. This has no drawback at all because who creates hos first account on steam without planing to use steam?

I think people with free accounts and level 1 and lower should not even be allowed anywhere near paid accounts with high level like myself.

its a free to play game for a reason. if you have to spend 5$, its not free to play anymore.

Based and truthpilled

if your friends tell you to come play free games with them or if the publisher decides to publish on steam, I was making my steam account to play dirty bomb back in 2016 or something

Most people who start playing csgo already are on steam for a long time and paid way more than 5 euro on their acc.

Use your common sense and think before posting. No one said you've to pay 5 euro for csgo. You just have to spend 5 dollar on steam. Tell me how many people never had a steam acc, create one and just want to play csgo? And how many of those wouldn't spend 5 euro either way on WHOLE steam? Especially when the quality of steam, the forum and even ingame is higher then?

In many forums on steam you're forced to buy the game in order to write in the forum. For a good reason. Prevents from nearly all trolls aka throw away accs.
First your last point, it's not prevent trolls. It's to prevent spammers and scammers.

So, impose more restrictions into f2p accounts with what purpouse? What would even be the point of making csgo f2p if you're going to charge for the MAIN feature anyway? Smurfs and cheaters have always been purchasing csgo copies, you even have to set up a phone number I think (maybe it's for prime or w/e).
You'd only be impacting on those who couldn't afford to put any money onto steam in the first place.
Anyone that catches their favorite streamer/content creator could say "I like that game, they say it's f2p so I might as well go try it" only to find out "u must pay 5 bucks lol", or you know, anyone that has friends and they invite him to play.
There are places where your only way to add funds is to have a credit card. Would you get one just to play csgo?
think thoroughly before you post

N:zero: Understand how Steam works first before making these suggestions.
Understand the difference between an XP gained level account and a badge gained level account.

Valve has their reason why they made it free 2 play. Charging or restricting f2p players is total bs
cSg|mc-Hotsauce Oct 19, 2019 @ 8:39am
The F2P model works fine. And the fact that purchases made outside Steam do not unlimit the account either. I have another account that has over 150 games and is still limited. I use that to main in CS:GO now.

Levels mean nothing in game.
