Best way to find teammates??

I have just under 1000 hours. Took a break for some months now I'm silver again.

Grinding with randoms in competitive is hellish. Most people just want to start fights with their own team or derank. I'm so tired of topfragging and getting booted on the last round (how is this even a thing?)

I'm looking for a solid group of players who can have fun and win together.
People who like to practice flashes, smokes and practice different plays to take a site together.

If you're interested, let's play! If you know a website/forum to meet teammates, please direct me to it.

I guess you can start by looking players in public lobbies first rather than starting the game by your own which put you to random teams. There are things you can do to check if the people in lobbies are legit. For instance, you can check their profile or ask them if they are deranking or not. Hope it helps!

Use the "nearby players" function to find player of your skill level, invite them on teamspeak, discord or whatever vocal you use, andd lets go :)

I always add people I meet in casual - usually if they aren't toxic there they won't be in comp. feel free to add me tho, I have a good group I play with

Use the "nearby players" function to find player of your skill level, invite them on teamspeak, discord or whatever vocal you use, andd lets go :)

Where can I find this 'nearby players function'? Steam? Csgo? I've never seen it in csgo.

It's in the panel with your friends, you have a tab "Friends" and a tab "Nearby Lobbies"
You can also set your own lobby to "Open to nearby players" andd nearby players will join.
