Steelseries Siberia 800 problems in csgo

I got my new Steelseries Headset today. Everthing works fine and the sound are great. BUT in csgo i got huge problems, I'ts almost like playing with no sound. I hear footsteps, gun sounds etc, but I can not hear where the sounds are coming from at all! I never experienced this problem with any other headsets. Anyone know som better settings or got some tips? anyone playing csgo with this headset?

Try switching to "7.1 audio" in the game's setting menu.

also mabey try switchs in audio settings in head phones back to Head phones if its on the HTV head phones or something like that

Late response, but if you have the headphones plugged in using usb and select that from the output devices (siberia 800), you'll only get mono. connect the optical cable to your comp, then select the output device as optical in windows. That'll get you omni direction sound. For microphone, select the siberia 800 from the usb connection.
