Difference between 300 and 500 fps?
I know 60 fps to 300 is a huge difference, but is 500 fps range that much different than 300?

You don't want that much FPS because it could fry your GPU. Get a limiter.

actually the human eye can only see 2fps, thats why if u lower your game to exactly 2 fps, it runs way smoother than 1fps or 3 fps.

Do you have a 300 hz monitor?

300 fps is useless on a 60 hz monitor.

300 is way enough, why you want more?

I ran CS:GO at 839 FPS once.

Thats not right. If you have more frames, you will be seeing "newer" frames than if had 100 frames per second less. Thus reducing input lag.
