The CSGO mod that really puts Valve in a bad light

Let me start by saying, I've played Counter Strike since the late 90s, and still love and adore the game even today in all it's forms. I wanted to open a discussion about a particular Counter Strike "mod" that has come into light recently. And I really think people who have played Counter Strike other than CS:GO would want to hear about it.

So what mod am I talking about? It's a mod that tries to recreate the original feeling of CS 1.6 with CS:GO graphics. The mod also goes into great detail in fine tuning Weapon balance, Hitboxes, Map balance, replaces all modern CS:GO sounds with original CS 1.6/CSS sounds. Changes gun animations to be more like how CS 1.6 was. Changes how aiming and movement works. They even flat out remove the "newer" guns added in CS:GO like the MP7 or the Nova, and replace them with he original guns from 1.6 like the Pump Shotgun and the Mp5. Changes the Ts and CTs uniforms/models, and does so much more.

So why should you try this mod? Is it just a nostalgia CS fans mod that will be dead in a week? Yes. It may be dead in a week, but I want to pull up a higher point here. This mod tries to emulate from the developer of the mods perspective what CS today should still be.

And I employ you at least give it a try, even against bots, to feel the difference of the mechanics in this mod compared to CS:GO of today.

There are even missing features that the modder cannot add, therefore not a True 1.6 remake.

Exactly, this misses the wall bangable walls and the nade damage.

Thanks for advertising this, but I'm pretty happy with the way CS:GO is now and I don't really want to compare it with the previous games. That is, because I want to get used to CS:GO and the way it's going in, which of course many 1.6 players are not happy with.
