rates are personal you find how to set it by looking at your net_graph
anybody that thinks he can tell you correct rates for your situation is mental.

Yeah, you're wrong. They talked about their behavioral system to stop and penalize anti social players. Works a charm I'm told.

What do you mean?
I have never before heard of personal rates. Anyway, 100mbit internet, average ping is 5-15. So what should my rates be then?

I had these for as long as ive played csgo:
cl_interp "0"
cl_interp_ratio "1"
cl_cmdrate "128"
cl_updaterate "128"
rate "128000"

Although most faceit players say that the "rate" should be set at rate 786922.

nobody has the same internet connection as you nobody is the same distance from the server as you.
you need to find your own rates if faceit moved server location.

do you even know why you set it like that or somebody told you?

you look at your net_grap in all situations in the game and adjust your rates accordingly.
do you even get 128fps at all times to support those rates?

Tips

Don't change console settings unless you are 100% sure what you are doing
Most "high-performance" setting cause exactly the opposite effect, if the server or network can't handle the load.

Optimized setting for one client may not work for other clients
Do not just use settings from other clients without verifing them for your system.

and then google a lot.

Yes i get 200fps+.
So what is it exaclty that is should adjust? "rate" according to my internet speed and cl_interp according to my ms/ping and right?
So iam usually under 25 ping and therefor i have read that 786922 is the correct rate and cl_interp 0.007813 is the correct interp.

I can't change my settings everytime i connect to a server and i want to find general settings which works fine during most times i play.

You read too much instead of playing. I don't give a crap about rates and I'm playing masters on faceit. Never had issues.

yeah, i have my rates tweaked for competitive MM which works fine. But with these rates I can't hit anything on faceit servers. Changed the rates to standard and it works better now
