What is rock the vote in csgo?

As we know there is a mapchoose-plugin on many servers called rock the vote.

So what does rtv mean? And what's the difference between rtv and normal mapchoose-plugin?

on community servers, a map is set for a certain amount of time. So after 20 minutes for example, you can vote for a new map. if you don't like the map, you can type rtv in chat to rock the vote, so you can vote earlier on a new map. if enough people want to rtv, you can vote for the next map and switch.
