questions about float and wear in CSGO skins

hello I'm thinking of getting a Flip knife doppler
I know lower the FLOAT is the better.
Is WEAR and FLOAT the same?
Is it better looking if the WEAR is low or high?

Wear and float definitely correlate. You want a high wear, such as factory new.

A wear is just what the condition of the skin is, Battlescarred, Well Worn, etc. Float is the percentage of damage on the paint.

Do not listen to this guy. He is actually trolling you.. Go to op-skins and check their floats. You can tell what wear it is by it's float value. The lower the float the better. This guy is messing with you.

I'm not trolling, just badly educated in what float and wear is.

Wear and float sorta correlate but not really. Wear stays the same no matterlike factory new, minimal wear etc. But float is connected to wear. Low floats tend to be on the factory new minimal wear area. High floats on the other side. What you see on the website relates to the float. You defintely want a lower percentage of wear.

Yw. Been at this for about a year now so i know whats up
