How do you turn off Prime Matchmaking?

After having played plenty of matches in both Prime and Non-Prime i can say with certainty that there is absolutely no difference in the amount of cheaters, laggy servers and overall poor performance between the two. As a result, i would like to switch back to Non-Prime.
And please, don't be a ♥♥♥♥ and say "Why would you wanna disable it?". That doesn't help and quite frankly i honestly think you'd be trolling if you said so.

Removing the number and adding it back changes absolutely nothing whatsoever and i plan to keep the mobile authenticator.

removing the number from the account is the only way and it takes 6 monnths before you can use it for prime again when you do that.

Stop playing Matchmaking, go install CEVO/Faceit/ESEA. I can say there is less hackers in Prime but you will still run into them. Based on how Prime works and what level the account needs to be will help lower the amount of hackers in the Matchmaking games. The servers are the same for Prime and non Prime so I don't understand why you want to disable it... That makes no sense at all. Also judging by your name and this post you are trolling.

Remove the Number from Steam log in CSGO Prime is gone log out again from the game go to Steam add again the Phone number.After when you login again in CSGO you have again the Button to activate Prime and you can Activate it when ever you want.

4 year old thread lol, phone numbers aren't required for prime anymore. There's no way to play in non-prime unless you queue up with a non-prime player.

If it still matters, you go into SteamSupport, Click on CS, I don't want this game anymore, select Prime, and it'll go away. Similar steps to turn it back on.
