Why can't we sell guns

I feel like if we sell a gun for half of the original bought price, it would fix a lot of, osht, i want to buy a nova but I'll be $350 short for full armor next round. but instead you can buy that nova, and if you win the round, sell it and be able to full buy the full armor, with 250 leftover for a flashbang.
Instead of wasting those crappy eco weapons, you could sell that ump-45. It would possibly fix economy issues and put it back to skill-base instead of eco-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ base.

no. it would completely change the game and how it works. definitely will never happen. buying weapons is one of the most core components of the game, changing it this late into the game could ruin it. and there's nothing wrong with the way buying works.

you complain about getting eco weapons but that is the way the game is meant to be. if you could get the best guns every other round then it wouldn't matter if you lost or won the round. you have to earn the better guns they shouldn't just be handed to you.

I feel like you didn't read the post at all. I'm not complaining about eco weapons, i'm complaining over the fact that they are helplessly wasted when following a buy round. Instead of leaving a perfectly good $1200 UMP, you could sell it for 1/2 of original price and turn it into grenades.
