Running CSGO as administrator & Discord

Running discord normally and then launching CS as an administrator restricts me to using voice-activity and id rather use push-to-talk. Running discord as an admin and CSGO crashes csgo. Is there anyway I can make CSGO not run as admin and fix problem ?

You should NEVER run a program as administrator on recent systems; there is no need to. And if a program needs admin access, it triggers a UAC window asking for elevation.

What error are you getting when you aren't running CS:GO at elevated privileges?

CS is just set to run as administrator and whenever I launch it asks for access, but if I deny it just doesn't launch. I forget the error but could I just reinstall CSGO? Or does it remember the file

You edited the options of csgo.exe to force it into admin mode? On a properly setup system csgo shouldn't need to have admin access. Make sure that all options for "Compatability" are unchecked via windows.

Yeah. Now it's just force quitting but not needing to run as admin. I'm not sure what the issue is.

Anyway thanks for the help. I was confused about the compatibility thing but now its fine. I can work it out from here.
