I go in with the notion that there's a possibility he just wants to know which the best headset is. He now he has that answer from me. So I'll unsub and hope he chooses the best one if he's being genuine.
Thanks buddy. Lmao. I would never consider cheating. I hate that ♥♥♥♥. I used to play CS-go 13 years ago. I actually started playing when it first came out. Just now getting back into it. Just been playing at lan center. Building a beast Pc specifically for CS-go this Friday once my cpu AIO arrives.

As you can see, I’m trying to get what pros use. Trying to eventually get on a team and compete locally.
I appreciate your help. Is the sennheiser game zero better than the alpha cloud solely because of mic quality? How is the actual sound between the two? Is the sennheiser better in that dept too? I’m highly considering getting the game zero now. Thanks!
On a budget I'd certainly go with the Hyper X. I used a pair of Hyper X Cloud 2's for around a year and it's a great headset with a very decent microphone. I've recently started using an ATH-M50x with a separate microphone and the sound quality is much better.
Understand this though, most pros use headphones just to appease sponsors, not ones they actually would prefer to use. That's why you'll see Cloud 9 players using logitech mice, keyboards and headsets on stream.
If I had the choice, I'd go with the Game Zero based on what I've been told. But I don't think either will give you any advantage in terms of in-game sound (considering pros use in ear earphones during tournaments under the sound cancelling headphones)
So go with the Game-Zero for that really nice mic.
If you want the best sound, generally a gaming headset isn't the way to go.
No doubt about that. Gaming headsets are just streamlined well so you don't have to worry about a separate mic or anything.
But we're talking about CS, not Flac files. So the quality of the sound shouldn't be much of an issue unless OP wants to jam to some audiophile tunes.
Thank you for your help! I will take all the info into consideration. I’m HIGHLY leaning towards the game ZERO.
Thank you! I wish my girl would be into CS-go!!
