Does the AK-47 Need a Nerf?

I don't want to be subjective about it, so all I will say is this; if all pro players use the weapon at every given oppurtunity (assuming they always prioritise the meta choice), then that weapon is potentially overpowered.
I'm not advocating a hard nerf to its stats, but at least make it cost the same as an M4/M16.

Dude. What. It's like saying Ts can't pick up USPs as it'll turn into Glocks.

With your logic, CTs will have better starting pistols but Ts better rifles.

Different specs, Armor pen, RPM, damage etc. m4 and aks are suited for different roles, being offensive and defensive.

The ak is slightly too strong, therefor a nerf is legitimate. The ak should be exactly the same as its counterpart the m4 (balance wise), that doesnt mean they should work the same. The 1shot HS is very important for gameplay.

However, we currently have the best balancing we ever had in any CS game between those two weapons. Touching this is dangerous.

okay, re-think about the skins of guns, I am agree with you point that 'ak47 is an ak47 no matter who picks it up', but it should be add some limited when CT using the AK, something like 1 headshot no 1 kill, because CT is not good at AK , CT used to M4 in their training time

just like F16 is a better fighter than Su-24 , but a Russia should learning how to drive before use it

Actually your wrong, AK is ment for power, it’s how deadly even in real life can be, and also the actual way to properly play counter strike is to actually on the first round to buy a defuse kit on ct side on start of the match and take precaution of T’s pushing through with kelver armor to plant, which is where the armor penetrating pistols come in to play, and then if CT’s win, then they can then upgrade to having full helmet and kevlar armor, and a smg if wanted, but if T’s win, then they can get full armor to then be able to push sites more effectly, but if any teams’s lose, then yes, eco is bound to be you’re option as a team to save for next round, where the team can then be able to get better gear and weapons to protect site or plant, depending on what team you are on. The other thing I must say is most people in this day and age don’t know how to effectly use granades to their advantage, such as the classic decoy, where you can use to draw the other teams attention away from the objective you are going for, which is to fool the team into thinking there is contact in that area etc.
