My monitor won't let me play CS:GO
So it's been like this for a few days now and the thing is that when i start CS:GO, my monitor turns black and says "Input Not Support" and then i have to close cs:go on my other monitor (luckily i have 2 monitors) and then i have to restart my main monitor, then everything is back to normal again. I am having CS:GO launch option as "-window" temporarily, then CS:GO starts then i have to go to video settings then enable fullscreen then it works fine, but it is just annoying to go to the settings every time i start CS:GO. I would really like to know why this happens, hope for a quick response. Thanks! :steamhappy:

Your CSGO is set to run a display that your monitor doesn't support.

Get csgo configured properly with fullscreen and whatnot, open console and type host_writeconfig. It will write/save the current client configuration to config.cfg. I can't remember if that also saves video.txt (where your video settings are saved), so you'll know whether it worked or not the next time you open csgo.

You may or may not want to force it to launch with a specific resolution with -w X -h Y.

It has worked before though.

Well....it doesn't work any more, so the troubleshooting has to start somewhere.
