- goto CSGO properties from steam library -> goto local files -> browse local files -> find csgo.exe -> rightclick -> properties -> compatibility tab -> uncheck box for 'full screen optimizations'
- start game
- open console
- type: snd_updateaudiocache
- type: snd_rebuildaudiocache
let that run out, restart game. test again.
He should be getting 400-500 fps with a rig like that.
Most likely that the problem is on the client. Evryone blames devs first.
I had the same problem and with a similar rig.
What was causing that was the CAM Overlay that i use with my Kraken cooler.
Give it a try, and turn it off, if you are using CAM as well :)
You are a legend. I would never have even thought a program like CAM could cause this.. i have a 8700k and 1080ti and i was getting 100/120 fps. i removed CAM and boom 300fps cuz thats my cap.
