4:3 stretched resolution looks like 16:9

Hello Guys,
I've big problem with my resolution. Before latest update everything was working fine, i had 4:3 stretched and it looked great. With the latest update something crashed and now my screen wasn't stretched as wide as before. It's stretched right now but just not as wide as before. I've easly spent 7+ hours trying to resolve this. I tried every possible option on nvidia control panel. When im using scaling set to aspect ratio i have black bars on sides. When im using fullscreen it is stretched, but as i said before not enough. Looks like normal 16:9.

I have format set to normal 4:3 on csgo. Changing resolution doesnt change anything, only how sharp my screen is. I also tried with custom resolution 1440x1080 - screen just got sharped.

Anybody has any idea to how fix this issue? :(

@Henji alright, so i will try to switch my 1440x1080 to 1400x1050 and see if it changes anything and then ill make a clean isntall of drivers and let you know with the results

Alright - new resolution didnt change anything.
Reinstall of the drivers also didnt work :( I'm slowly loosing hope

I have one idea how can you fix it. Go to windows resolution settings, and set the resolution what do you use in csgo. Open CS, and if that didn't help you, i don't now wtf happened.

If your monitor native res is 1600 by 900 you cant have strech resolutions by 1080p they dont work. only fix iss buying a new monitor that supports 1080p

Hey I have one trick for you i have this same problem but i found this new custom resolution 1280x1080 Its not as streched as normal 4:3 without this bug. But i guarantee this will look more streched than 1280x1024 1440x1080 etc hope u will try this
