CSGO LOSS AND CHOKE

Why do I have loss and choke in csgo? I have good internet a hundred mbps speed. I tried letting my friend on my other computer and we both played together in the same server matchmaking but he doesnt have choke and loss and I do. After how many minutes, my loss and choke were gone but I checked my other pc, he has the loss and choke, it tranfered. Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Check your "rate" cvar. It can be configured through the Game Settings as well, the Game Traffic option.

rate too high = loss
rate too low = choke

If you can't find a value for `rate` that keps both loss & choke at 0, you'll have to troubleshoot/identify 3rd party sources (software, routing, ISP, etc) that would interfere with your network.

Investigate the software you have installed and/or contact your ISP.

Already tried contacting my ISP, they said the internet is okay in the philippines. Let me try investigating softwares.

Unrestricted is rate set on around 700-800k which could lead to loss but in no way to choke.. check your 3rd party programs and such

what 3rd party programs cost loss and choke? sometimes i have choke around 3-4% but in loss, i get 3-30%

An explicit list of all software that may interfere enough to cause loss or choke would probably exceed a post's character limits.

To be honest, you should know what software on your PC would interfere with networking/connectivity...you're the one that installed it.

Run Antimalware in your pc (Using Anti Virus) and clean the Malware and check after that If the loss comes change your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
