Are gut knives really that bad?

to be honest i never liked the Gut knife but i got a Black laminate in a trade and i have to admit it looks pretty cool.

They're considered "budget knives" cuz they're so many of them. Some can be nice, but they're so common that not a lot of people like them.

I have had all of the knife types and the gut knife is up there. It is usually just personal prefrence. However most of the people that dont likfe it are just sheep.

They’re cheap knives, and always will be, but they give you a lot of bang for your buck for decent finishes. It’s a nice wide blade so it shows them well. If you’re looking for a cheap knife that isn’t a mesh, scorched, etc. then definitely go gut. The knife really goes well as a fade, with the handle color and nice, wide blade. Overall, cheap knife, not the best, but amazing for what you get.
