There both the same excelt the scroll wheel wont be automatic and have perfect timing while a macro does looking like hes using cheat program

Stop abusing the physics engine.

I always find this difficult to judge when I do overwatch... How can you tell if someone is using a script or a scrollwheel spam if they only do a few hops at a time? 100% perfect hops around the entire map is obvious, but short bursts are always hard to judge. I normally put insufficient because I've seen plenty of people string a fair few hops together without a script.

Honetly the only way I vote guilty on OW is if the hops are constant, like 100% of the time. Reason: there are only 2 situations I've ever seen. a) a set of maybe 3-4 hops and b) unending hops 100% of the time. The second case is always matched with walls, aim, and usually staring at the ground the entire game. The first case only gets a guilty if they are wh or aim based on at least 3 seperate clear cases, ideally in 1vX clutch rounds where team chat is not a possible assistant.

I do the same, if they're hopping around a bit to much, and using another cheat, I'll call it - if there's no evidence of cheating and just a few burst hops, I let it go. I think it's the only fair way to deal with it.

I don't think a little extra distance, even with a macro, would be cheating, unless you're doing it for long distances and rushing people that dont expect you

I see what you mean, but take long at D2 for example, the meeting point is almost perfect at the doors - if one player used a script (and not skill of learning to hop) to get there first and wait to ambush the other player then that is an unfair advantage.
