How do you get to private rank 2

My friends told me that in order to get ranked I need to play 10 competitive games but when I try to play competitive games it says I need to be RANK 2??? Is this a glitch?

play deatchmatch like 3 games and you will be level 2 (rank2)

You need to play a few casual matches to get XP and get to rank 2.

Then you can start competitive.

I'm gonna warn you right now, once you win 2 matches you will get 21 hours ban (Rank placement) and there are a lot of hackers and smurfs.

So please, dont get upset.

Online players only but not community servers, it has to be official CS servers.
