Question on reporting Cheaters in Casual Mode
So, I'm playing CS:GO in Casual mode like I always do, and a cheater is on the opposing team. During warm up, 15 kills all head shots not even in the area, the player is still in their spawn point. So I report him like I would for any cheater.

The question is - Does reporting in Casual mode even work? Does anyone ever look at the report?

Because I have reported others for blatant cheating but nothing seems ot come of it. I used to get messages in the game home screen that someone I reported cheating was "caught" and banned or whatever. But lately, it seems like no one is even looking at it. I'm not talking about people I "think" are cheating, I'm talking about straight up obvious cheats. Spinbots, Aimbots (every shot is a head shot), Speed Hacks, Name changers (constantly changing names every second). Obvious stuff like that, you would think that VAC would get these people fast, but apparently there is a lag for VAC. Why I don't know.

But the reports, should they not be acted upon? If not, how come? Because it's casual?

Anyone?

The reports stack up. Casual games have no priority in the overwatch viewing. But the reports still count.

It's not been officially confirmed, but there's no reason to believe Casual reports don't increase a counter that works in tandem with MM to Overwatch a demo.

Yes, they can get game bans or trigger a VAC. Either way reporting is adviced.

Valve employee already stated that you should always report somebody if you suspect them of cheating regardless of the mode played

Reports have nothing to due with vac’s or untrusted. They only go towards overwatch

I didnt say VAC did or did i... And you can get a game ban for csgo with reports or 2v2 games.

Profile reports don't ban players in any way. That is remarkably abusable.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and presume you meant that they can be sent to Overwatch, and incur a game ban if they were cheating. But it's still inaccurate to say that 2v2 Wingman gets you game banned, because it doesn't have OW.

Look, I don't want to ♥♥♥♥ on you because English obviously isn't your first language and everything, but you did say that reporting a player causes a VAC. They are correct in refuting that...

Game bans are from overwatch which only works in Competitive and VAC can be triggered even if there is 0 reports on you since it's working 24/7

Reporting people have nothing to do with VAC. So that's where you're wrong.

And again no, i know nothing about profiling reporting.

Anyway reports or getting caught in casual or other modes can give you game ban.
I know someone that got caught. Thought he would never got caught due normal reports.. Turns out game bans are just as easy..

And again this has nothing to do with OW stop comparing this with OW or reports in competitive mode. This topic or questions is not about that.

Any reason why I'm not seeing feedback in game on someone who I reported (again obvious stuff)? It just seems like nobody is looking at the reports.
