Did you verify the game integrity cache through the Steam interface? That seems to fix a LOT of issues with these games. Also, do a CLEAAN install of the drivers....and delete older versions of them still on your hard disk...

I sent a bug report, verified game files, and have done a clean reinstall of drivers, ran as administrator. so far nothing has worked but I'll keep trying and checking back to see if anyone comes up with anything
