Does dx12 work on csgo?

I HAVE DIRECT X 12 AND WANT TO DOWNLOAD CSGO CAN I PLAY CSGO WITH DIRECT X 12?

You need to install DX9 in addition to DX12, as the latter is not backwards compatible and CS:GO requires DX9.
