What is the esc key's proper name?

So basically this isn't a proper steam discussion but it's just that you guys respond so quickly so it's much easier than writing on a different place.

So basically my esc key is broken and I got a application called Sharp Keys to fix it. I went onto sharp keys and clicked type key becasue all the names were the proper names for computer keys and I clicked my esc button but it wouldn't work and i've typed up what the esc key's proper name is but it won't come up.
Please help.

When I look for it there is no escape button. Is there a number verison of it.
If you have the app can you tell me which key it is below and above?

just use your virtual keyboard (integrated in windows) to remapp it on your software.
If you don't know how to activate your virtual keyboard just google it
