There are Bots an scripts around where you put a price in for a certain item and if it hits the market at that price the script buys it automaticly. You have to have Money on steam though. Also yes, you can snipe .. but think about the 7 Day trade ban for that item. The prices change a lot and its very unsure if you would make profit. Same goes for external sites. You cant trade the item then either. So getting it cheaper as usual is possible .. making profit of that after 7 days and changing prices is not.

also even though its against the tos some people have bots that are constantly checking the market for people who make mistakes when entering the price or wanted to quicksell their items for really cheap
