But if you havnt installed 'NVIDIA Control Panel' you could try that. It its possiable to change scaling mode in there. I dont know if it works, with an AMD card, but its worth a shot.
Use this settings in nivida custom res panel
1600x900 hz according to ur monitor
then change the timing from automatic to manual and put this
active pixels 1600 1125
16 1
144 3
2110 1199
+ +
hz according to ur monitor
It actually works with any 16/9 res thats lower than original than ur monitor
in active pixels put desired width*1 then desired height*1.25

desired width*1.31875 desired height*1.3325

Also important thing you have to use the res on your monitor for the time of playing and in game settings change to fullscreen windowed
