How to fix the low volume problem with razer kraken etc.

Since the last update on the sound there was a lot of ppl complaining about their sound was too low when set on maximum. I had the same issue. There is some process from razer synapse which is doing something wrong with CS:GO sound and i couldn't hear a thing.So there's what i did to fix my sound.
Go in task manager and the first thing you wanna do is right click on synapse's process and end the task, then close every single proces that is connected to synapse/razer i had 2 of them. Start synapse again, open CS:GO and your sound should be just fine with the only difference that you gonna miss the Quad Surround Sound and 5.1 Surround sound modes. Let me know if that was helpful. Edit: Just stop "Kraken USB APO Helper" proccess and you're good to go. It's been months and the problem is still there. Hope more ppl see that so they can fix their issue!

I found even a faster solution, so iam gonna put it here real quick! You go to task manager, scroll down to "Kraken USB APO Helper" , right click and then click on end task and you're good to go!
Works every time for me.

I see, but most of us have that problem and it was pain in the ass. I used to play on "Volume 1" and still can't hear a ♥♥♥♥. I don't know where the problem is. It appeared after the last sound update they made. Issue might be something with OS, might be synapse...idk. All i know is its something with 7.1, cause few friends had the same issue with 7.1 headsets and they were not razer. So for all out there having that issue it should be helpful.
The thing is that issue was there for months, but valve just don't care.

Guys I had the low-volume problem with Razer ManOwar 7.1 !

after the last razer surround update (version 2.21) this thing happened to me : very low volume even with all the windows 10 volumes maxed out.

From the first moment,i suspected razer surround software (because it happened after update),so I uninstalled it and deleted razer folder in program files(x86).

I'm not sure if the volume is like before tho,but it sure become much Much higher!

Now I'm looking to downgrade my razer surround software and NEVER EVER updating it!

Oh my god... thank you Google for finding this thread, and thank you Brabus - RaiGeki for taking the time to figure this crap out. been trying for months to fix mine and as soon as I ended Kraken APO Helper, it all went back to normal.

I HAVE THE ANSWER!! THE PROBLEM IT SELF CAN BE FIXED!

look at the photo. It's of the little box you plug your headset jack into, that has the volume buttons, THX button, mute button, and the thing I'm about to show you. its Labeled #1 on the photo.

It's to balance the game chat and audio.

Holding it down one way will mute the sound, holding it down the other way increases volume to 100%.

I promise you, this is the answer. All of us accidentally hit that button with our bellies or something. Lol :)
