What is the difference between Official and Community Competitive server
So I created this cs go server reading This post, I started server as Competitive game mode.

Now players joining my server over internet are saying that it is community competitive game server and not official hence their ranking wont increase while playing on my server.

Please tell me how to change that, and what should be done..?

Server installed on Ubuntu 14.0 64 Bit Linux

You can't host official competitive games.
No game you can host can alter your ranking :)

youre basically hosting a esea or a faceit server. these are just for fun and not connected to valves servers in any way. only valve can host official servers where rankings will increase, as they want to monitor everything

So if I will buy a server from a provider such as sme x company than it will also be not a official server..???

"Official" basically means "can be found using matchmaking". May it be casual or competitive matchmaking.
Your server won't be found using matchmaking, it will be listed in the "Browse community server" option :)

A community competitive server just has the competitive ruleset I.e not casual you have to buy armour etc.
Think your the only brainless one.
The OP wants to make a server for people to rank up officially and everybody has told him you cant.

Its ok people thanks for answers specially carlos100 and jamie Haller...so I knw...I can not create a official server...Sad is that...hl mod being a open source these services should also be a open source or at least...a buy option should be their to create a official valve competitive server...so that a team/clan/group/company can own them...

What would be the point in that ?
Giving admin rights to anyone would lead in abuses. The fact that nobody can have admin rights on these servers (or anything on these servers) prevents abuses.

Imagine if you host the server at your place and you play on it, let's say you don't have admin rights, you just own the server. Nobody can guarantee your connection, so the server may be faulty, big ping spikes, that kind of thing. And you start losing the game, you rage, lets unplug the server. That's not fair.

Now, i believe you're a kind soul that wants to help the community, but i think you're not fully aware of what's COMPETITIVE and what's OFFICIAL, i mean no offence in saying that :)

Being open source would allow you to modify and recompile the server side code, thus creating exploit or make hacks more easily developped (vac is server sided).

I'm glad we could help you understand, but now i'm curious, why do you want to do that ? :)
