Very low fps in csgo?

I just recently got a new pc which is much better than my last one. On my last pc, csgo would run with 150-250 fps on highest settings. Whilst on this pc it runs with 25-35 fps?? On ever other game I have this pc is much better than my last one, for example: my last pc could run gta 5 on low/medium settings with a bit of lag sometimes. While this pc can run it on max graphics settings very smooth. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

try putting your settings to the lowest. also you could try to go to csgo in libray -> right click -> properties -> set launch options and type, -novid, -high, -no3d9ex1. this should boost your fps. i went from 30 to 200 :D

Hi This is with all maps I play 4:3 1280x960 bb so can't understand the low fps thought it might be that my RAM is not enough. With faceit I get even more fps loss. There is some parts on some maps that it goes up though and around smoke it drops alot.

Assuming you are running FaceIt Anti-Cheat, it doesnt let csgo run as a high priority, so the only thing to do there is to upgrade your computer specs. As for normal CS, more ram is always good. try opening task manager and seeing how much ram is being used. if its above 80%, you might want more. Last thing is to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and maybe verify integrity of game files. Apart from that there isnt much. Hope this helps!

make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. other than that, make sure CS is running on high in task manager

Can anyone help me out. I upgraded some parts on a relatively lackluster computer (had random 2GB graphics card, 8GB RAM and i5-3570K CPU). I have a 144hz monitor and before the new parts came in I played consistently well above 144 fps. I now have a 1660OC, 16GB of RAM and same CPU yet my FPS is horrendous. Around 250 if I'm looking at a wall but as soon as I see other players it drops to 90-130 and is unplayable at 144hz. I run MSI afterburner while playing to test it out and my CPU or GPU are never anywhere near full utilization. Other games have not decreased performance. Can someone inform me what the issue is? I have all settings on lowest, and run a low resolution on 4:3 stretched. GPU drivers are up to date and all parts on my computer excluding RAM are brand new.

try using aim config from workshop it has fps boost config

You're confusing GPUs with CPUs.
