it comes down to personal preferance really,i have a razer mouse and a cheap ass gaming keyboard but the keyboard is really comfortable for me

Well, extra mouse buttons and keyboard buttons aren't the only changes to those, many gaming keyboards as designed to be much more responsive than an average kb.

i know what you're sayinng hippo but within reason a gaming mouse and keyboard arent too different. for example logitec and steel series gaming products wont be super different even with $30 price difference

yea i know im just pointing out stainth was't talking about major differences like a ball mouse vs gaming mouse. he means whatever he's gonna buy, thing similar too it arent going to give a major advantage. if the op buys a $20 mechanical keyboard the $20 membrane option isnt going to be wayy better

i use mechanical keyboards and use to use membrane i would say they are both good but i would go with mechanical keyboards its realy up too you. try both and see what one you like

i think most people don't use membrane because mechanical feels better. the keys stick out and you know exactly which one you are pressing.

like laptops are always membrane because mechanical is uneccasary. but on pc where the keyboard isnt right in front of you i imagine its easy to make mistakes.

i still maintain the fact membrane is faster but doesnt feel right to most

you don't have to have one which is loud as ♥♥♥♥ either, cherry MX red switches are identical in every way to blue switches without the overly loud clicking
