How Do streamers Get swatted?

I just found out that n0thing and summit1g have been swatted along with many other streamers and i know may other streamers have gotten swatted. I know bits and pieces but does someone with an in depth descrpition please leave a comment on how people actually get police men on another person. Does anyone know really well?

And I have a similar question, but more along the lines of where do they get the streamers' info?

Streamers get swatted when people call the police and say "Streamer X is doing [very illegal thing] on stream." Some people find where they live via Doxxing/other methods (Won't name, they're illegal anyway and you shouldn't be doing them) and give info on that.

It is VERY illegal, and you could face jail time for trying it. This is all the information I am willing to give on it. Please never consider doing this as it only causes a hassle for the streamer who is just trying to entertain you and make a living.

And I have a similar question, but more along the lines of where do they get the streamers' info?

If i swat a streamer they can track back the call and arest me for false accusations you dumb fu ck. I want to know how and why its so easy to get so many policeman to show up at a single persons door. If your not gonna tell me just leave this thread.

oh sorry xD i thought you were trying to accuse me of trying to swatt a streamer. ive got mood swings. its a mental issue it basically means i get triggered easily xD (no joke i actually have mood swings sorry for getn angry)

You get someone swatted by doxing them for their address. You then phone the police saying, "There is a gunman with hostages at "123 fake street"" and bingo bongo bango, bish bash bosh

leaked information about his adress or having his ip, finding his adress based on that ip and so on.
Once the adress if known they use various methods to use their phone number and call the police with various acusations.
The police is getting a lot of these fakes acusations so it needs to pass some filtering before being considered an actual call.
Risks are high and benefits from doing it are close to none.
You can't bragg about doing it because you will serve time or pay a huge fine. You will intrreupt the stream for few minutes and you'll earn nothing for that.
You will most likely help that streamer get more public because the video will get in news feed on youtube and compilations will start flying about that.
