4:3 vs 16:9 vs 16:10
Hello fellow CSGO players. Latly i decided to fix a bit the settings of my crap PC (HP Probook 4340s really sucks). I know what the pros for 4:3,16:9 and 16:10 are,but i would have 2 questions
• how do you get more fps? 4:3 streched,4:3 black bars or 16:9?
• my settings are everywhere already on the lowest. is there any way using a differenr resolution will load a map faster? (im forced to play only dust 2 and mirage because they load the fastest) Thanks if anyone could help:csgoct:

you wont get anymore fps cause lower res=better frames and less stress so you wont get more fps with bb compared to stretched cause both use the same resources and are at the same res

No it won't, it depends on your CPU and HDD speed

Try 4:3 stretched, it doesn't give as much fps as black bars but is better imo because fullscreen. It is also better for fps than 16:9 and 16:10. For me, 16:10 had black bars but they were extremely tiny. 16:9 was fullscreen (normally). There are many tutorials on YouTube on how to stretch resolutions into fullscreen. Also, I reckon you should get a better computer. There are laptops such as the Acer ES 15 (I am currently using) with a Intel Core i3, 4gb RAM, 1TB Hard Drive (Around 900 because of OS) and Windows 10 Home. It is $299.99 USD with Prime. GL.

What kind of fps are you getting out of an i3 laptop for $300? My laptop was $500 and I get around 60-110 fps.

What I do for certain clips is put the game in host_timescale 0.25 while recording, and then upping the whole recording to 4x in Sony Vegas. Of course funny moments in game can be an issue.

^ I play 4:3 by 640x800 I think. I can get around stable 60 fps and drops hell crazy when there's a smoke.
