Opencsgo is a scam.
Apologies for awful mobile formatting,

Using an alt for this,
I am a fairly popular youtuber with 50,000 subscribers and I first became aware of opencsgo after they approached me for a partnership oppurtunity, the partnership seemed pretty straightforward, they'd add 300$ to my account that I could use to 'unbox' on their website while recording it, during the unboxing I unboxed several knives of pretty good quality, by the end of the unboxing I had more than a few rare karambits and other skins. Right off the bat this seemed fishy to me and I became rather suspicious but I didn't say anything during the video. I thought if this was a scam surly I couldn't withdraw the skins and actually get them in my inventory, but as it turns out every knife I withdrew I got in a trade offer a bit later. Free knives right? I showed me jumping around with them a bit in game for the video and cut it there. I was still pretty suspicious about how much I had actually won from the website, thinking that anyone who happens upon the video would be pretty tempted to give it a try. Then it clicked, what if the odds were skewed in my favor purely for making the viewers think they could have the same luck? So to test my theory, against my better judgment I made a new account on the website and deposited 50$ and unboxed mostly the same cases I had before, except this time I never unboxed a skin worth more than 10$. I tried a case that on my previous run had yielded a knife every 4 or 5 tries, it was a pretty inexpensive case and by the end of my 25th case I was broke, and all I had unboxed was approximately 15$ worth of skins. Looking on the side of the site I saw a live feed of sorts showcasing latest unboxings, many of which were knives and rare skins. The truth was clear then. I looked up the site on YouTube and saw that many other moderately popular youtubers had made similar videos, and I didn't see anyone calling them out on these shady practices. I never did upload the video and I don't want the skins but when I had asked the site about this the expectedly never messaged me back, they seem to have been getting away with this for quite some time and I just wanted to let people know that this site, is a scam.

TL:DR, opencsgo is a scam that uses popular youtubers and shady tactics to come off as a way to get easy skins and take people's money and as of yet it seems they've gotten away with it.

The fact people don't get they are scam is a sign that knowledge has become more restricted to the public.. Dark ages are coming.

Nathan it’s a sad little known fact that this happens with all csgo case opening sites. Seriously look up any of the top csgo youtubers, they probably have a few gambling video with them winning big.

Allot of kids see these videos and instantly think they have some good odds of making profit or winning some skins, sad fact is they have little to none. Valve seems to not take interest in third party case opening sites though.
