i7 4770s "Bottlenecking"?
I mean, I have i7 4770s 3.1GHz which is low voltage version of i7 4770; a GTX 1060 6GB Gigabyte G1 8GB Ram 1600 DDR3 HyperX and PSU 520w and when turbo multi-threading it goes only to 3.5 GHz, I get around 170-250 fps on 1080p with everything on ultra, but if I down to 1024x768 or 1280x960 the way I usually play, it doesn't change a lot basically stay the same thing... Can I do something? Already have autoexec for better performance and stuff, my commandline is -high -mat_queue_mode 2 -mat_queue_priority 2 +exec autoexec.cfg +cl_forcepreload 1 -nod3d9ex -tickrate 128 and.. that's it. Not that the game is bad to play or something, it's only to know if it's ok, because I see most people with i7 getting 300 consistant FPS or more at low res or not. CPU almost all time 50-60% usage, videocard 30% or less when everything is turned on.

i didnt understand you so much, but the reason why you have more cpu usage than gpu is because cs go is a cpu intensive game.Hope this helps.

I'm sorry I'm a bit nervous... I know about this, but the thing is that it's an i7 with 4 cores and 8 threads and I can't get more then 250fps, while I see a lot of people with 300-400 fps on low resolution.

1060 gpu with 520w psu. is that even doable? your cpu may not be getting enough power.

Yes. A 550w is even enough for a 6700k and a gtx 1070 combo.

Maybe the other people that you said that have better fps overclocked their components.
