Yes, it's a 16:10 monitor, use that resolution. Personally, I don't think using any resolution that is not your screen's native one is recommendable, as the image usually gets washy when you do.

Ok sir thanks
The in game resolution, if you are asking about that, is subjected to your preference. Most of monitors nowadays have 1920:1080 but only few pro players play on native.

For referrence: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UaM765-S515ibLyPaBtMnBz7xiao0HL5f-F1zk_CSF4/edit#gid=1762004852

Native resolution is proposed to be used while in os, using browser etc, but in games such as cs:go it could very much differ. Look up the link above, with your resolution some play with stretched or non-streched. Afterall, it;s all about your preference/comfirt. To find out try different settings.

Not a sir, even though my current avatar might suggest otherwise. ;)

That is only because they are used to the old resolution from their CS 1.6 days. It's still not smart to play 4:3 these days if you don't want to ruin your eye sight.

Yeah, right, tell that to that spreadsheet and younger players who have 1920:1080 yet play on lower resolution, and many do on 4:3. First time I've heard about 4:3 being bad for your eyesight was from you. Thanks for a tip, am going to buy a new 16:9 monitor soon and will keep playing on 4:3, apparently worsening my eyes' abillity.
Generally narrower screens are bad for causing long sight, as your eyes focus on a smaller area for long periods of time.

So you say reading books could worsen your sight based on the font is used in spoken book and their dimensions? What I mean is that the lower the font is the harder you had to focus your eyes on it.
