Dual Monitor Issue
So basically, I have 2 monitors. One for gaming (my primary one), and one for YouTube/Skype/Discord/etc. Ever since I got a second monitor, CS:GO has been having this weird issue where it minimizes. If I do a full 180 while moving my mouse really fast across my mouse pad and click, CS:GO minimizes, and I am onto my second monitor (not the one that has CS:GO open). - I play the game in fullscreen mode so it'ss really strange that this keeps happening to me, because it doesn't occurr on any other games of mine.

This has become really annoying, since it happens when I'm on 1v1 servers or MM, at the worst possible moments. If I move my mouse too quickly and click while I'm moving quickly, CS:GO is minimized, and I have to re-open it which takes quite a few seconds considering I play on 4:3.

If anyone has a fix for this problem please leave it below. Any help is much appreciated.

skype isnt the issue as i run it and mine is fine its the way dual monitors work sometimes your mouse wont lock in the screen and only way to fix it is to make the game fullscreen(fullscreen not windows fullscreen) and or moving the second monitor ontop of the first monitor so when you move left and right it would click out

I have it fullscreen already, and both my monitors have an on-desk stand, so there's no way I could stack either one on top of the other.

Quitting Skype didn't do anything. Still getting the problem.

bump

I've tried downloading a program called "Dual Monitor Tools" which was suggested to me by another user on Reddit. That did nothing to help either. Am I right in assuming the best thing to do would be disconnect the second monitor each time I play CS?

Wouldn't that make the problem worse? It would make it much easier for me to click off the monitor.

i have a second monitor and i use that, its super easy and clicking off of the primary monitor isnt a problem whatsoever, it doesnt happen on accident ever.

But you said for me to do exactly the opposite?...

But that makes it impossible to change the brightness or resolution back to 4:3. It only allows me to do 16:10 and have the same brightness as my computer monitor, which is not what I want.
You could always do what I used to do when I had the same issue. I went into my windows settings (Settings>System>Display) And set the monitor that you wern't using higher than the other. Granted, this would be annoying to move between monitors until you change it, but it's the best fix that you can do without using another software or something. (You can definately have the screens offset at a weird angle, sorta like this https://i.gyazo.com/42ca8081360bb4860daf3c289ceda0d8.png )

Well the program works if you set up a hotkey to lock your curser to 1 monitor. it's honestly somewhat annoying to have to press hotkeys all the time when you actually want to navigate on your second monitor, but if that's your only option, i suggest that.

Did you coincidentally download the anti-cheat client from {LINK REMOVED} I downloaded that, and when it's running it somehow makes the mouse move freely between my monitors even when Counter Strike is running and in the foreground, which it won't do when the ChallengeMe.GG client isn't running.
