How do CSGO cases work?
I am wondering what decides the skin that you get when you open a case. Does every case already have a pre assigned skin when it is created? Or as soon as you open the case is there a random skin and float generated based on the odds of unboxing each rarity? Does anyone know?

No, it's most likely completely random, whenever you open the case a random number is generated. These numbers give certain outputs.

EG:
0-6000: blue
6001-8500: purple
8501-9500:pink
9501-9800: red
9800-10000: gold.
