It would be so unplayable :D
Back in the very beginning of cs it was a way to reduce peoples aiming skill. CS was supposed to be semi realistic game about terrorism and counter terrorism.
Guns were seriously OP in the early builds, people made inhuman shots or just ran straight alonge outside of nuke A plant spraying bullets at head lvl.
So they implemented recoil and such to make the game more realistic.
Csgo:
Its just a way to make recoil control harder, would be pretty easy if youz just had to hold the crosshair on somebody.
Pro tip.
The system goes a little deeper. Your first 2 shots with an m4 land were your crosshair is, the 3rd is slighlty above. With the ak the second shot already goes above your crosshair.
