Intel core 2 duo E7300 for csgo?
I'm planning on building a super cheap PC with a core 2 duo E7300, 4gb ram, and what ever GPU I can get. I'd get something like a gtx 750ti later on.

But I intend to play at 720p low settings no AA or Vsync.

I'm building this PC as a backup

Yeah my main one does. It broke within a month of just being built.

i3 is as low as you should go 8gigs of ddr3 ram(old yes but better mobos and supports upgrades) and 1tb of storage is as low as you should go 1tb can be 70$ or less i3 is less when used you can get used parts excluding psu and gpu(stay away from used psu and gpus) for the cheap core 2 isnt good for anything now adays but you can youtube/google it to see how well it plays with that cpu

I think the best value for money is in older i5's like 2500k or 3570k, as they can be had quite cheap and can be overclocked easily to 4ghz+ at which point they give like 90% of the fps you'd get from a much more modern cpu
