I keep getting disconnected from competitive matches for no reason.

I get disconnected, close cs, close the processes of steam and cs if they're still open in task manager.
Check my internet connection, everything is fine.
Open CSGO and voilá, can't connect to the competitive match...

This has happened like over 5 times now, so I am enjoying a 2 hour ban, you guys really need to fix this.

It's not happening to me.

It hasn't happened to me on 3 systems (1 very old pc, shabby and all broken, 1 weak laptop, and 1 average pc).

It hasn't happened to me on 4 different isps (3 wired, one "wireless", when one of my crap internets was dying and I changed it).

It ain't an issue with the internet sir. I'm on a wired connection, crappy pc but reliable... this is really bumming me out.

check your ip each time it happens, if you change your ip I think you can't reconnect to the match.

Its an issue on your end though.
Check programs are not trying to update or anything that auto does anything in the background.
Sometimes finding these things can be a pain

It is on your end. If you have a dynamic IP it could be that. You could be getting a new IP during these games and a new IP can cause you the ability to not reconnect

I am not getting disconnected from my ISP only from the competitive match. If this were the case then 90% of gamers would have an issue... not everyone's got static IP addresses mate.

Omg you literally don't understand technology a new IP doesn't disconnect you from your ISP. It provides you with a new IP. I have a dynamic IP and I know what time I get my new IP from my ISP. I make sure I'm not playing CS during this time to avoid any problems. When your IP changes you are disconnected for a very miniscule amount of time then reconnected with a new IP. You can't reconnect because you have a new IP.

Even a pc derp can disconnect you and mess up the actual connection to csgo game............but you still have internet connection

sure genious then I get new ip addresses multiple times a day like twice today at 17:00 and now at 19:30... you sure are helpful... calling me an idiot does not help anyone or solve my issue...
Also, a change in IP address would disconnect like A LOT of people. If an ip change is the issue then a lot of people would be affected... stop being a dumb ♥♥♥♥ who doesn't understand ♥♥♥♥ and implies your truth to be the one and only truth.

Your IP changing isn't going to disconnect multiple people. If you tell us what your ISP is we may be able to help. Throwing in curse words because you have limited vocabulary doesn't help. There is also a chance that your roommates or family are streaming a lot and causing bad internet problems ping wise.
