200fps vs 400fps
find this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEtmJR_HJIU
400fps looks smoother...and...on 240hz monitor...i think 480fps is also better than 400?

it means if your monitor has 60hz, your max fps is 60 and if your fps is higher than 60hz you will get screen tearing.

no it dosent if you have a 60hz monitor and running cs at 400fps it will run smoother because the monitor has a larger range or frames it can pick to create the picture to create a ever so slightly smoother image

400 looks smoother, i think it has motion blur enabled and on 200 frames, motion blur is disabled. imo

idk why i never get screen tearing at higher fps then my monitor but when i lock mine to lets say 144with vsync it causes tearing but locking it without it doesnt but yeah youll get alot of screen tearing depending on monitor refresh rate and or crappy game vsync

Vsync syncs the frames with the refresh rate, it does more than limit your fps.

Frames have always been a myth. It's Bauds that take credit for partial lag. Frames are just the information inside a packet being sent and recieved.

You could have 70 FPS and get as smooth results as 120 FPS.

Let me restate, Frames are the information that appear in your screen. Bauds is measurement of the transmission of these.
