Too high ranks for me
I'm new to CS:GO (less than 50 hrs played), yet every single time I go into matchmaking I'm being matched with (and against) Gold Nova II, IVs and Master Guardians. I don't even have a rank assigned yet, I'm sucking terribly and drowning my team, yet my "rank" doesn't update.
I have only 7 competitive matches won, and a 21h blockade evey two victories. So I generally lose 6 matches to win these 2 needed for my "rank" (still invisible for me) to update, yet it still matches me with players much better than me.
Any way to fix this? Maybe I could write to valve, or something? The game as it is now ain't fun in any way possible.

It's on purpose. The first 10 games are used to establish your skill level. As you perform bad opposition will be lowered drastically.

to get ranked you need to play an array of different ranks to find perfect placement. grind it out and welcome your new SILVER 1 rank

Hm, it always matched me with these GN3/4s and MGs. I guess there's no other way than to play and try not to be kicked before the end of the match. Thank you, guys!

Good for you. You will be assigned to one of the skill groups you play with.

First ten matches *won* will show rank, your starting hidden rank is Gold Nova 2. As for OP, I would suggest aim maps you can practice on the workshop, and one called "Aim Botz" where you can use all the guns in the game. I'd suggest getting used to headshotting them, then have them move slowly, and work your way up till you can easily shoot a moving enemy. Depending on how serious you are about playing, I can give more tips, or even spend some time training you.

Your first game is in silver and second, if you win or lose you can advanced or just stay in the silver, for example if you win all 10 placement games you will get LEM(Legendary Eagle Master) the placement is on w/l so try win as much as you can and if you get into Silver then RIP you cause of 'Silver hell' unless you are able to not play against ms cheaters or smurfs but if you get silver then try carry yourself out overtime. (Cheaters and smurfs first game(s) will be in Silver
after you win 10 comp matches you wont get anymore cooldowns after you win 2 games. Like the person above me said, if you play ♥♥♥♥ you will become against worse opponents next game etc.

Did I understood right: even if I'm playing on GN3/4/MGs, if my win/loss is low, then after these 10 matches won I'll get lowwer rank, right?

Unfortunately, it's not only my aim that needs fixing. To play against GN3s/4s/MGs as I do now I'd also need to learn tactics, movement, general behaviour and how to use flash grenades that currently are barely a decoration for my UI. I think it's a bit too much for a beginner like me right on the start, so if it's possible I'd just prefer to play on my ranks, instead of getting quickly better to match ranks assigned for my matches.

GNs and MGs have no idea how to play the game so your rank is fine

Your first few matches are against around the gn3-mg rank. This is the rank set in the middle. Do well and it puts you up. Do bad and it will eventually drop you. Do ok and you stay. I suggest practice casual. Can learn a little there as far as smoke spots and just in general the map layout.

After you get 10 wins it will rank you.

Unfortunately they are still better than me, I often go out of matches with them like 17/24. Pretty bad introduction into this game for a new player that I am :(

Hope I finally get the rank so I can start actually playing the game.
