Faceit or EASA?
Which one and why? Never used any but going to sign up to one tonight.

I don't have a team, I mostly solo q and based in Europe. So is any one of these better for me?

Faceit -
Pros:
Free
Not so intrusive anticheat
Still have some cheaters

Cons:
Only played by ♥♥♥♥♥ kids who got 7day cooldown in VALVe MM

ESEA -
Pros:
Best anticheat
Only for LE+

Cons:
You need to pay monthly
Anticheat scans ALL your files even when you don't play
Only for LE+

Depends on your skill level. If global is too easy and you got basics down then paying for esea will grant you the best experience. If you are low skilled then don't bother. Low rank esea is just as bad as faceit but with slightly better servers.

Obvisouly it's your money, and you decide. But for just pugging, I'd save the money and just derp some matchmaking.

edit: I have a "fun-account" at rank D and there's absolutely no LE+ there. Gold nova is more like it.

You can close the ESEA client at any time while not playing so it won't run all the time.

As for the question, FaceIt is also hacker-infested. I love it better than ESEA in general, but this is definitely something you need to take into consideration.

I disagree that ESEA is LE+.
I'm MGE and I play ESEA and have the most enjoyable games there.
Sure, it's not as 'easy' as Faceit when you're medium ranked, but hey, it's the best way to learn and improve!

I'd say it depends on WHY you wanna try Faceit or ESEA.
If it's only for 128tick servers, you'll be fine with Faceit.
If you want to play on a platform with proper anticheat and really improve as a player, you should definitely play ESEA.
i got ea play Jan 31, 2017 @ 12:59am
Cons for both, they both have more 'elite' hackers that use even more private and secret hacks for 'legit' play.
If you want to vs rage hackers who atleast have the balls to show that they hack go ahread
but before you by a sub just think about it.

Hackers will always be around, there's no anticheat in the world that will prevent that.
However, there's no doubt about it that ESEA has the most effective anti-cheat to date for CSGO.

I'd say the cons of faceit are:
- Low elo is mostly populated by Matchmaking scrubs that have another 7d cooldown.
- Every last few days of the month is infested by hackers to grab those Faceit points.
- Faceit anti-cheat is not yet enforced on every CSGO match, however, it IS enforced on every CSCO match for some reason.

The cons of ESEA are:
- It will cost a monthly fee
- It's generally for above average players, if you're Nova or silver, it might not be so smart to hit the ESEA servers.
- You get some baiting players who are playing only for their RWS.

Thanks for the info guys much appreciated.

I'm currently DMG been playing about 6 months with 600 hours. I have people I sometimes q with for MM but mostly solo q.

I was hoping solo q would be a better experience on one of these platforms and that my game could improve.

Think I will try faceit because like you said it's free so nothing to lose and if I don't like t I can always MM.

Thanks again

On CSGO I believe it's only enforced in Premium Queue and FPL Qualifier/FPL
On CSCO (Classic Offensive) it's enforced in every match.

I cant really recommend any of them. Esea is how valves MM should be, meaning that it should be even better because its pay to play. However, you will still see cheaters and very toxic players. Especially the toxicity is a BIG minus for a subscription. Sure this can be avoided by playing with friends, but you can do the same on Valve MM.

The only real plus are the servers, they are top notch. And sometimes, just sometimes you meet people that actually understand cs. But thats a rare thing, even on ESEA.

Btw, ESEA has a new ranking system, but I dont know yet if it is any good.

PS: 1 month to try it out is worth it.

Their new ranking system made ESEA more accessable for less skilled players.
I guess it can be seen as ESEA's take on the rank system that Valve uses.
You'll get matched with roughly equally skilled players.

Like you said, there can be a LOT of toxicity on ESEA, because on ESEA they expect a lot from everyone.
Ofcourse it's always possible to try it out, especially since you can use steam wallet funds to buy premium for €7,99.
