Souvenir drops on chromecast?

I've got my Twitch connected to steam, if I cast it through that twitch account to my chromecast, will I still get drops?

offtopic: Before I connected my steam to twitch I watched gotv for like 2 minutes and got a 3$ case drop :D

No idea, but I suppose you should be able to get drops from it. In the few matches I watched via Chromecast I didn't get any so far though.

well im a bit unsure since chromecast doesnt even let you change quality and on my pc it pauses whilst casting.. I suppose I'll just cast the entire tab just to be sure

if your steam is linked with twitch, then yes. you can get drops on chromacast

how do you know? I doubt it since chromecast is so featureless
