Is it safe to send people your trade link.?

Like if someone keeps asking me for my trade link is that fishy in any way? like is there a code or ips or something that lets people get into your ♥♥♥♥ from the ips address.?

There's no inherent security risk; all that will happen is you'll likely receive messages from "Steam Administrators" trying to scam your items for "item verification".

PSA: There's no such thing. Your item goes in the trade window, their item goes in the trade window. That is the extent of trading, nothing goes anywhere otherwise.

Just seems weird when the first thing some people do is say give me your trade link and they seem really set on getting it. When if u click any ones profile and click more, trade offer its right there.
